Microsoft Surface Book i7 (2016) review:

Image
Microsoft Surface Book i7 (2016) review: t he Surface Book was Microsoft's first-ever laptop, and now it's back for an encore. The Surface Book with Performance Base is an update to last year's Surface Book, a laptop with detaching tablet screen that had an iconic look and some pretty good -- and weird -- design flourishes. What the Surface Book isn't is a Surface Pro sequel. The Surface Pro 4 , released a year ago as well, hasn't been updated in 2016 (and isn't compatible with the Surface Book at all).   If you looked at Microsoft's Surface Book last year, lusted after it, but wanted it to be a more powerful computer, this is your answer. It's a better laptop, and a better experience. But in exchange for that power, it also gets a bit heavier. The side edges feel the same, but there's a clear curving bulge on the base now. You won't notice it unless you stack these laptops side by side, but it's there. Last year, we ...

Acer Aspire VX 15 review:

Acer Aspire VX 15 review: Acer may have an attention-grabbing gaming laptop with its $9,000 limited-edition Acer Predator 21 X , but it's the Aspire VX 15 that people are actually going to buy. Starting at $800 and topping out at $1,100 , the VX 15 is just a really good deal for an entry-level gaming laptop with current-gen components. Straying from the typical Aspire streamlined designs, Acer gave the VX 15 body a "gaming system" look including two large stylized fan vents at the back to keep this system nice and cool (for the most part, anyway). If you appreciate a little splashiness -- but just a little -- this should do the trick. It's a lot like the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 in this respect as well as what's inside, but I like the Aspire a bit more. The 15.6-inch laptop is available with either a 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti paired with either an Intel Core i5-7300HQ or Core i7-7700HQ processor. The GPUs aren't sufficient for VR, ...

Reviws for samsung galaxy j5 (2016)

Reviws for samsunge galaxy j 5 (2016) Introduction When we think of Samsung, it's usually the flagships like the  Galaxy S7 edge  and  Galaxy Note 5  that immediately come to mind. However, it's not really these flashy and expensive models that sell by the buckets. Rather, it's the less design- and specs-intense ones from budget series like the Galaxy J and Galaxy A that make up the bulk of Samsung's smartphone shipments. Despite enjoying top priority at Samsung's manufacturing lines, it's not easy to be a Galaxy J these days, as first-time and budget-minded smartphone buyers in developing markets are wooed by numerous low-margin vendors that supposedly offer more value for less money. Can the new  Galaxy J5 (2016)  convince you to pick it up instead of a comparably priced handset by the brands above? Well, we'll have to see about that! Design An elegant smartphone whose budget origins aren't immediately obvious. With its symmetric an...

iPhone 6S review

iPhone 6S review iPhone 6S long-term review: It's still a great phone Apple launched the  iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus , but what's new? Check out our  iPhone 7 vs iPhone 6S  if you're looking to upgrade, but the short version is quite a few things.  Read more at http://trustedreviews.com/iphone-6s-review#COoEGgrJ73LqocsI. While the overall look is very similar, it's now waterproof and comes in a few new colours. 16GB is gone, as is the headphone jack, but it's now equipped with stereo speakers and a wider colour gamut enabled display. The camera is new too, with OIS and it'll let in 25% more light. Summer is always a strange time to buy an iPhone. You’ve got much newer phones out like the  HTC 10 ,  Samsung Galaxy S7  and  the much cheaper  OnePlus 3 . Apple even has a newer phone, the much smaller and affordable  iPhone SE . But there's still plenty of reason to pick up the iPhone 6S, maybe even over the  iPhone 7 . If the...

Oppo F1s review: 2016 has another King of the Best Value phones Update: A new version of this phone has been launched. Check out our  Oppo A57 review .] This phone has appeared in our  Top Rated Android Phones list and  Best budget smartphones  list. Check out the new Oppo R9s review here . [Edit: Since publishing, Oppo has advised that Australia won't be getting the Dual SIM variant of the F1s. However, we expect it to be available on grey import. We've knocked the value score down a little, but everything else we have said still stands] The last phone we reviewed was the  Samsung Galaxy Note 7 . That costs a staggering $1,000 more than this Oppo phone and yet when we switched over to it the overwhelming sense was of relief. Here’s why… Something strange is happening in the phone world. The newer players are getting into the market by offering amazing features and extras with their phones for a fraction of what the old-guard is charging....
